Over his career, he garnered the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation and was consistently lauded as Minnesota's top financial advisor by Barrons and other esteemed financial publications. His exemplary performance also secured him a place in the Pinnacle Club at Merrill Lynch, highlighting his top-tier status within the company. Living in Orono, Minnesota, he has raised three children who have now reached adulthood, instilling in them the values of hard work and community service. He considers his life richly blessed and is committed to supporting charitable organizations that help those less fortunate. His philanthropic endeavors are extensive, with support going to organizations like Faiths Lodge, Pay it Forward, Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. He has also contributed to community projects in his birthplace, Ladysmith, Wisconsin, and supported educational initiatives at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he received his undergraduate and Master's degrees. When not engaged in philanthropic activities, he enjoys playing sports such as golf, basketball, and pickleball.
